The main one is that many experts are predicting a minority government this year which will give independents a lot of power.

Independents can also genuinely represent the community and advocate for reasonable projects. I am not accountable to anyone except the community. Also, if elected I can hold either side to account if they don’t fulfil their promises. Any promise isn’t a reality until it appears in the budget papers (and not just money for planning).
Volunteers will be appreciated for early voting which is from Nov 14 to Nov 25, and on election day on Nov 26. Locations will be confirmed in early Nov.
